I keep telling myself to update this but I get caught up in EVERYTHING… literally everything before my mind even remembers to go write a blog update. I obviously suck at this.

Exams start in a week and honestly I feel like this semester has gone by way too fast.. currently trying to fix my schedule for next semester thanks to the great Undecided advisor.

Something that ISN’T undecided though is that I will be adding a double major in wait for it.. Economics.

i just LOVE it. I don’t really go to lecture (can’t blame me) but I love reading the textbook and doing the homework.

I am going to post more when I’m not doing my last computer science project EVER. Ahhh!

In other news:

I am 1 paper, 1 computer science project, 1 communications quiz, 1 economics homework, 1 business quiz/homework, 12 art tiles, and 2 interviews away from exam week then 5 exams and I’m out of here and moving into an apartment. Oh yeah, I signed a lease in November.

In one week, I will be in the New York City with the Maryland Business school visiting companies and having fun. I hope I learn something new from this experience. I have a meeting tonight about the trip so I hope to learn more about what exactly I will be doing but the reviews from this trip the past years, looks like I will enjoy it.

In other news:
I find out if I was 1 of the 8 people selected to travel to Scotland for spring break leadership abroad in 4 days. I’m nervous to find out. Wish me luck since only 8 students are selected.

mid semester update

so this is a mid-semester update because I’ve been too busy to update it before now.

I have been SUPER busy with all my classes and extracurriculars (aka.RHA). So I’ll give an update on each class.

Design- I like the idea of the class but the assignments are sooo useless and long and time consuming that I get mad sometimes when I do work but overall I like it. Besides the fact that it is at 9am for 2.5 hours…

Public Speaking – Easy class, we had to conduct an interview and we have group presentations next week. My group is pretty funny so its nice to be able to laugh in class. Oh and did I mention my teacher doesn’t speak english….

Web Programming – LOVE IT! Hard at times (javascript math formulas) but I… LOVE IT. I’m having a great time and enjoy what I do (besides the point that I don’t go to class..)

Accounting – I’m actually REALLY enjoying this class. the material is difficult to understand at times but I’ve been doing well and I hope it stays as good as its been. also, my teacher is hilarious and talks about how he hates duke all the time <3

Microeconomics- I actually enjoy this too but I don’t go to lectures or discussion really.. just go to take the tests and do the homework online

Softball- Going pretty well.. I’m getting tired of walking allll the way down to the field (haha lazy) but its annoying to walk back when I know I only have 1.5 hours to rest and eat dinner before meetings begin at night.

RHA- I love it. love it. love it. Just sent in my application to go to Scotland for spring break. Hopefully I get picked (only 8 students go)

Rodney- Is currently not in Japan (I’m not allowed to post it on the web for security reasons but if you want to know just ask me).. I haven’t talked to him in a week and won’t be talking to him all month. sadface. I miss him.

Business- I’m going to NYC with the business school on Oct. 21 mainly to AKQA and MPG. I am SOO excited. Those companies are AMAZING at what they do. Who wouldn’t want to be involved in making a nike commercial?!?

So I finished my online class today! CELEBRATE!!! No more Literature or History for the rest of my life. Phew. Now I can watch tv shows, decorate cakes, and scrapbook all I want. As a matter of fact, it is 4 am but I just finished two pages of my scrapbook. I love the feeling of being done for the summer…even though I move in in 2 weeks. Better than nothing. I’m excited to go back to Maryland and for all my classes though! I hope I can finish this scrapbook (as much as possible) before I go back to school.
